Teaching Evaluations

In this section, I include unedited data from my teaching evaluations throughout residency. Please note, evaluations by medical students were combined for the 2017-18 and 2018-19 academic year to preserve student anonymity. Additionally, resident clinical teaching assessment by other residents began in my 2nd year of residency, so evaluations begin in the 2018-2019 academic year. For evaluations of individual teaching sessions please see the Clinical Teaching and Didactic Teaching sections.

Please visit the Teaching Activities page to view evaluations for each of my teaching sessions (attached to each activity).

Clinical Teaching Evaluations - Medical Students

Representative comments:

“Ilana is a gem. She is so considerate of medical students, does great teaching and is overall a very supportive person. She also treats patients with exemplary respect, has great empathy and concern for treating their medical conditions. I cannot say enough good things about her.”

“Dr. Krumm is a fantastic resident and was a huge part of the reason why I loved my rotation so much. She is passionate about patient care, honest and open with patients, and continually working towards becoming the best clinician that she can be. She was an excellent role model and teacher during my time on rotation, taking time out of her busy workload to answer questions, find teaching topics, and fill in gaps in my clinical knowledge.”

Clinical Teaching Evaluations - Residents

Representative comments:

“Excellent to work with, particularly strong teacher and role model”

“She was all that a good senior should be, available, a great teacher, went out of her way to offload intern tasks, while still giving us independence and autonomy. I would strive to be the resident she is in a year from now.”

“Ilana was an amazing senior. She was always available for me to ask her questions when I had one and she gave great and timely feedback. I also appreciated the time she took to teach throughout the day.”
